Georgetown is the 7th largest city in the State of Kentucky, located in Scott County. Conveniently built a bit north of I-64 and I-75, just 10 miles north of Lexington, Georgetown is a very appealing weekend escape destination that you should not miss, especially if you are traveling that way. It is mostly famous for two reasons. Major Georgetown attractions include the Old Friends at Dream Chase Farm, Toyota Visitor Center and Plant Tour, Whispering Woods Riding Stable, Georgetown College, and much more. Regarding budget accommodation, there are many wonderful and nearby Georgetown that offer excellent rooms for under $90 per night.
