• Four Reasons to Travel in 2011

    1. Money Well-Spent

A national study last year determined that people were not only happier when spending money on experiences vs. material objects, but also that they were more likely to consider their money well-spent and more likely to be satisfied with their purchase years later.

    2. Live Longer

After surveying more than 12,000 men, it was suggested that taking a vacation once a year reduces the overall risk of death by about 20%, and the risk of death by heart disease by as much as 30%.

    3. De-Stress

According to a 2005 study, women who take frequent vacations are less likely to become depressed, tense or tired, and more likely to be satisfied with their marriages.

    4. Be More Productive at Work

In 2008, a study revealed that 39% of Americans reported feeling more productive at work and better at their job overall upon returning from a vacation.
